Remember - Old books shopping

Do you remember...

...when we went shopping for old books, on a warm day of Spring?

Today, I was very anxious... it had been a long time since the last time I felt such anxiety, and this feeling strangely reminded me of a few years ago. It actually brought back pleasant memories;

Back then, and I still lived in the old apartment, not as close to the city as we are now. From time to time, we would visit a small shop in front of the school I attended. On the second floor of that shop were a ton of old books, some of which were very interesting.

One warm Saturday of Spring, my old friend came over to our place. It was sunny and we all felt like going out, so we went and visited the shop. Since my old friend loved books, this little shop turned out to be a lot of fun for him. He showed us books he had read, we spent quite some time in that little shop, he then bought a few books and we walked back home. We even got some ice cream on the way back and ate it while looking at the river behind my apartment building.

These memories will always be precious to me. This was a time of anxiety for me, however I still lived a ton of wonderful moments with my friends. Now that I'm anxious again, I can still look forward to great moments to come.

(And well...being anxious only reminds me that I DO in fact have a heart. I'm still human! ;3)
