A Super Mario Adventure: Return of the Shadow Queen

''Wh...WHAT?! WHAT'S THAT BLUE GUY DOING HERE?!''
The King of Koopas was not very pleased when Geno arrived just in time to save his old friend Mario. The Star Spirit was once again assuming the shape of a puppet, armed with all sorts of gadgets and ready to fight for his friends.
After defeating Bowser's Airship fleet, the two heroes returned to Mario's Pad to recover from their battle and have a much needed chat. Luigi was so surprised to see Geno again, especially since he had heard so much about him from his big brother. The Star Spirit however looked very serious and grave. The reason for his visit was not good news.
''Mario. Luigi. I bring grave news. The Star Road is in danger again, and I need your help...''

That's a very fanboyish idea I came up with last Thursday morning, and I've been thinking about it a little everyday since.
Basically, it goes like this:
The Shadow Queen returns and captures Rosalina, making her spaceship her new hideout. She plans on making a Rosalina clone for her to possess, in order to control the powers of the Star Road. She also captures Vivian's sisters, planning to punish them for ''treason''. Only Vivian escapes.
Geno returns to the Mushroom Kingdom to warn Mario of the new danger, and eventually Vivian joins Mario as well. Together, they go to Professor E.Gadd and ask for his help. Working with Luigi as his assistant, the Prof. builds a new Spaceship, and the construction is funded by Princess Peach herself.
Once the Spaceship is complete, Mario, Geno and Vivian are ready to leave for Space. However, the Professor insists that his assistant Luigi accompany them in order to pilot the Spaceship and study stars and galaxies. Thus, the Mario Brothers are now working as a team again with their trusted friends, Geno and Vivian.
After saying goodbye to Princess Peach and all their friends from the Mushroom Kingdom, our heroes leave in the Spaceship and are off to save Rosalina...
